KSCN President Picture

Dear Esteemed Members of the Korean Society of Clinical Neurophysiology,

I am deeply honored to assume the presidency of the Korean Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (KSCN) for the next two years, beginning January 1, 2025. At the same time, I feel a profound sense of responsibility in undertaking this role.

Since its establishment in 1996, our society has been at the forefront of advancing the field of clinical neurophysiology, leading academic progress as well as the development of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. Thanks to the dedication and unwavering efforts of our past presidents, executive members, and all our esteemed members, the KSCN has grown into a globally recognized and highly respected academic organization. I extend my deepest appreciation to each of you for your invaluable contributions.

The medical landscape is evolving rapidly with the advent of the digital healthcare era, and these advancements present new opportunities for the field of clinical neurophysiology. Our society is committed to actively supporting the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices, including bioelectronic medicines, that utilize clinical neurophysiology. By fostering the integration of ICT technologies with neuroscience, we aim to pioneer groundbreaking approaches that will contribute to the advancement of patient care.

Furthermore, as the official representative society of Korea within the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN), we will strive to further elevate our international presence. By strengthening academic exchanges and collaborations with societies around the world, we seek to facilitate the sharing of cutting-edge knowledge and reinforce our global network. Through these efforts, we hope to empower our members to excel on the international stage.

The continued dedication and engagement of our members are essential to the growth and progress of our society. Throughout my tenure, I will do my utmost to listen attentively to our members' voices and foster an environment of open communication and collaboration to ensure the further advancement of our society. Additionally, we will expand workshops and educational programs to establish the KSCN as a central hub for both clinical practice and research. I will also strive to ensure that the valuable initiatives undertaken by previous leadership teams are successfully carried forward and further developed.

Over the next two years, I pledge to devote myself wholeheartedly to the growth and success of the KSCN and to supporting the professional development of our members. I sincerely ask for your continued support and active participation. Wishing you and your loved ones good health, happiness, and fulfillment in all your endeavors.

Thank you.
